Full Body Waxing By Erothots, One Appointment, Hard Wax

Legs, arms, underarms, stomach, back and your choice of bikini in a single two and a half hour visit, worked in a deliberate order so the hardest part comes when you are most settled rather than least.

Before You Book Two And A Half Hours

This is a long appointment covering a lot of skin, so the contraindications matter more here than on a single area. We cannot wax you on oral isotretinoin or within six months of finishing it. Stop topical retinoids on any area being waxed five to seven days beforehand. Tell us about recent peels or laser, sunburn, broken skin, active infections, raised moles or skin tags, varicose veins, or diabetes with reduced sensation.

If any single area is a problem we will simply leave it out and adjust the price rather than canceling the whole appointment. Tell us at booking and we will plan around it.

01

Exactly What Is Included

Six areas as standard plus your choice of bikini treatment. Nothing here is vague, because a package where nobody quite knows what is covered is how people end up surprised at the desk.

Soft Wax On Large Flat Areas, Hard Wax Everywhere Sensitive

UpgradeFrom $190

Changing The Bikini Option

Bikini line is what comes as standard. Extended bikini adds ten dollars, a Brazilian adds twenty and a Hollywood adds thirty. All three are hard wax and all three are confirmed with you before anything starts.

02

Build Your Own Package

Nobody has to take the standard six. Areas can be swapped out, dropped or added, and the price moves with them rather than staying at the package figure regardless.

SwapMinus $22

Half Legs Instead Of Full

Knee down only. Common for anyone who wears trousers most of the year and simply wants the visible part dealt with. Saves twenty two dollars and twenty minutes.

SwapMinus $12

Half Arms Instead Of Full

Elbow down. Upper arm hair is finer on most people and plenty of clients never bother with it, so there is no reason to charge for it.

DropMinus $45

Leave Out The Back

The most commonly dropped area, and the one people most often add later once they realize how much easier it is than trying to reach it themselves.

AddPlus $40

Add Chest

Not in the standard package but frequently added. Soft wax, thirty minutes, and it pairs naturally with the back since you are already positioned for both.

Half body, if the full thing is too much. Half legs, half arms, underarms and bikini line at $100. It is a sensible first appointment for anyone who has never had more than one area waxed and is not sure how they will find two and a half hours of it.
03

Why The Order Matters

Most salons work in whatever order occurs to them on the day. We work in a fixed sequence, and there are three reasons for it that all make the appointment easier to sit through.

The first is acclimation. Skin genuinely does adjust to the sensation over the first twenty minutes, and endorphins do their part. Starting with the back, which is large and comparatively forgiving, means that by the time we reach the intimate area you are two hours in and considerably more used to it than you were at the beginning.

The second is position changes. Every time you turn over it costs two or three minutes and breaks whatever rhythm has built up. Working everything on the back of the body first, then everything on the front, means one turn rather than five.

The third is that the shortest and most uncomfortable section finishes last. Ending on twenty minutes of intimate work rather than starting on it means the difficult part is over quickly and then you are done, instead of facing another ninety minutes afterward.

Waxing room set up for a full body appointment at Erothots
Rule 01

Least Sensitive First

Back, then the backs of the legs. Large areas with more forgiving skin, done while you are settling and while the wax is at its freshest working temperature.

Rule 02

One Turn, Not Five

Everything face down is completed before you turn over. Fewer position changes means less time lost and considerably less of the awkwardness people dread about long appointments.

Rule 03

Intimate Work Last

By then you are two hours in, warmed up and used to the sensation. It is also the shortest section, so the hardest twenty minutes are the final twenty.

Rule 04

Both Wax Pots Running

Hard and soft wax heated simultaneously from the start, so there is never a pause waiting for a pot to come up to temperature between areas.

The hardest part should arrive when you are most settled, not least.
04

Your Hundred And Fifty Minutes

The whole appointment mapped out, so you know what you are committing to. Times shift slightly depending on hair density and which bikini option you have chosen, but this is genuinely how it runs.

0 TO 10

Consultation And Skin Check

Medication, recent treatments, any areas to avoid, and confirmation of exactly which bikini option you want. For a first full body this runs longer and there is no rush on it.

10 TO 15

Settle And Position

Door closed, fresh couch roll, clean towels. You get changed and positioned face down in private, and nothing begins until you say you are ready.

15 TO 40

Back And Shoulders

Soft wax over a large flat area, which is the fastest work of the whole appointment and the gentlest place to start. Most people find this section entirely manageable.

40 TO 60

Backs Of Legs

Worked from the ankle upward in sections. The back of the thigh is more sensitive than the calf, so we take that part more slowly and tell you when it is coming.

60 TO 65

Turn Over

The only position change in the appointment. A moment to sit up, have some water and reset before the second half.

65 TO 95

Fronts Of Legs

Shin, knee and front of thigh. The shin is straightforward, the area just above the knee is the one most people flinch at, and we work it in smaller sections for that reason.

95 TO 110

Stomach And Arms

Quick sections, and by this point you are well past the acclimation stage. Most clients describe this part of the appointment as almost restful, which sounds unlikely and is genuinely what they say.

110 TO 120

Underarms

Hard wax, ten minutes, in two or three passes each side. Sensitive but very fast, and it works as a natural bridge into the final section.

120 TO 145

Bikini Area

Hard wax only, in small sections, with you told where each strip is coming. You set the pace here and you can stop at any point without needing to explain why.

145 TO 150

Strays, Soothe And Aftercare

Any remaining hairs tweezed rather than rewaxed, a calming product over every area, and written aftercare handed to you rather than recited while you pay.

05

The Honest Arithmetic

Waxing is not cheaper than shaving and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What it buys you is time, finer regrowth and skin that is not being scraped with a blade every other day. Here are the actual numbers so you can decide for yourself.

What The Same Areas Cost Three Ways
ApproachPer SessionFour Times A YearWhat You Get
Booked As A Package$180$720One appointment, one price, saves around forty dollars each time
Areas Booked Separately$220$880Six visits instead of one, and six lots of travel and time
Shaving At HomeAround $4Around $180 a yearCheaper in money, considerably more expensive in time, and regrowth in two days
Point 01

Most People Book Four Times

Not ten. Full body tends to be seasonal, clustered around holidays, summer and events, with individual areas topped up in between. Four appointments a year is the realistic figure for most clients.

Point 02

The Real Saving Is Time

Six separate appointments means six journeys, six bookings and six lots of getting undressed. The package is one afternoon and then five or six weeks of not thinking about it at all.

Point 03

It Gets Cheaper To Sit Through

Not in money, in discomfort. By the third or fourth full body the hair is finer and the appointment is meaningfully easier. That is the return people actually notice.

06

Your First Full Body

Two and a half hours is a long time to commit to something you have never done, so the first appointment is run differently and there is no extra charge for that.

  • We book an extra fifteen minutes. Not billed. It goes on the consultation and on going more slowly through the first two areas while you work out how you feel about it.
  • We start with a test patch. A small section on the leg, so you experience the sensation before committing to the whole appointment. Plenty of people relax considerably after that.
  • You can drop areas as we go. If halfway through you decide the back is enough for today, we stop and you pay for what was done. Nobody is talked into finishing.
  • Half body is a legitimate first step. At $100 it covers half legs, half arms, underarms and bikini line in about eighty minutes, and it is a sensible way to find out whether full body suits you.
  • Bring loose clothing to change into. Whatever you arrive in, you will want something soft and loose to leave in. Freshly waxed skin and tight waistbands do not get along.
The honest warning. Your first full body is the most uncomfortable one you will ever have, because the hair is at its coarsest and no follicle has ever been emptied. It is noticeably easier the second time and genuinely manageable by the third. Almost everyone who gives up does so before finding that out.

Every Area Soothed Before You Leave

Also AvailableFrom $190

Gentleman's Full Body

Chest, back, shoulders, full arms, full legs and underarms in around two and a half hours. Coarser hair takes hard wax in more places than a standard full body, and the back is the area men most often say they wish they had booked years earlier.

07

Timing It Around A Holiday

The single most common booking mistake is leaving it until the day before flying. Freshly waxed skin and a beach are not a good combination, and the fix is simply booking a few days earlier.

3 WEEKS

Stop Shaving

Hair needs about a quarter of an inch for the wax to grip it. Three weeks of growth is comfortable, two is the absolute minimum, and anything less means half of it will not come out.

5 DAYS

The Ideal Slot

Five days before you fly. Redness has completely gone, any small bumps have settled, and the skin is no longer sensitive to sun, chlorine or salt water. This is the appointment to aim for.

3 DAYS

Still Fine

Three days is comfortable for most people. Start exfoliating on day three, which will be the morning you travel, and take a gentle chemical exfoliant with you rather than a scrub.

48 HOURS

The Absolute Minimum

No sun, swimming, sauna, steam room or heavy exercise for forty eight hours after waxing. Book any closer than this and you will be spending the first day of your holiday covered up.

DAY BEFORE

Please Do Not

We will still take the booking if you insist, but you should know that you will be red, you should not sunbathe or swim, and any ingrown bumps will appear while you are away. Five days is a far better plan.

For a wedding or event. Same rule, five days ahead, and never a first ever full body in the week of the event. If it is your wedding, have your first full body two months before as a trial run and the real one five days out.

09

Before And After

Full body aftercare is the same as any wax, applied to considerably more skin. The forty eight hour rules matter more here simply because there is more of you affected by them.

Before You Arrive
  • Three weeks of growth, no shaving. Two is the absolute minimum. Anything shorter and the wax cannot grip it, which means going over the same skin twice for a worse result.
  • Shower beforehand, no oils or lotions. Clean, dry skin lets the wax grip properly. Moisturizer or body oil applied that morning is a common reason a leg wax underperforms.
  • Exfoliate gently two days before, not the day of. It lifts dead skin so hairs release cleanly, but doing it the same morning leaves skin sensitized before you even sit down.
  • Avoid caffeine that morning. It heightens sensitivity for most people. So does booking in the few days before a period, so aim for the middle of your cycle if you have the flexibility.
  • Wear loose clothing and bring more. Something soft to change into afterward. Tight waistbands and seams on freshly waxed skin cause most of the bumps people blame on the wax.
The First Forty Eight Hours
  • No sun, swimming, sauna or steam. Follicles are open and skin is more reactive. This is the rule people break before a holiday and regret immediately.
  • No heavy exercise for a day. Sweat and friction on open follicles is the reliable route to small bumps two days later.
  • No hot baths or hot showers. Lukewarm for the first day. Heat is what makes freshly waxed skin flare rather than settle.
  • Nothing perfumed on the skin. No scented body lotion, no deodorant on freshly waxed underarms for twenty four hours. A plain unfragranced moisturizer is ideal.
  • Start exfoliating on day three. Then two or three times a week with a chemical exfoliant rather than a scrub, every week, which is what keeps ingrowns away.

What Goes Wrong Elsewhere

Booked Into Ninety Minutes

A full body squeezed into a slot that was never long enough. Areas get rushed, the same skin gets waxed twice to save time, and the client leaves sore in places that should have been fine.

Here InsteadA hundred and fifty minutes booked, with fifteen more added at no charge for a first appointment.

Intimate Work First

The hardest section attempted while the client is at their most tense, in the first ten minutes, before any acclimation has happened. It makes the whole appointment harder than it needs to be.

Here InsteadA fixed order that puts the shortest, most sensitive section at the very end.

Turning Over Five Times

Working area by area in no particular sequence, so the client is repositioning constantly. It wastes ten minutes and adds a great deal of unnecessary awkwardness.

Here InsteadEverything face down completed first, then one turn, then everything else.

Strip Wax Everywhere

Soft wax used on underarms and the bikini area because it is faster and one pot is simpler. Both areas have thin skin and it lifts a layer of it along with the hair.

Here InsteadBoth pots run from the start. Hard wax on every sensitive area, soft only on large flat ones.

A Package You Cannot Change

Six fixed areas at one price whether you wanted all six or not, so anyone who does not want their back waxed pays for it regardless.

Here InsteadAreas can be dropped, swapped or added and the price moves with them.

Who Will Treat You

You can request a therapist by name, and for a long appointment like this most regulars end up booking the same person every time.

Full Body Questions

What Is Included In Full Body Waxing

Full legs from toe to thigh, full arms from wrist to shoulder, back and shoulders, stomach, underarms, and bikini line. Upgrading the bikini option to extended, Brazilian or Hollywood adds ten, twenty or thirty dollars. The consultation, skin check, tweezing of strays, soothing finish and written aftercare are all included.

How Much Does It Cost

From $180 with bikini line, $190 with extended bikini, $200 with a Brazilian and $210 with a Hollywood. Half body is $100 and the gentleman's full body is $190. Booked separately the same areas come to around $220, so the package saves roughly forty dollars and five extra appointments.

How Long Does The Appointment Take

A hundred and fifty minutes, and we book the full time rather than hoping to finish early. A first full body gets an extra fifteen minutes at no charge. Choosing a Brazilian or Hollywood adds fifteen to twenty minutes to the total.

Can I Change What Is Included

Yes, and the price moves with it. Half legs instead of full saves twenty two dollars, half arms saves twelve, dropping the back saves forty five and dropping the stomach saves twenty five. Chest can be added for forty. Tell us what you want when you book and we will quote it before you commit.

Does It All Have To Be Done In One Appointment

No. If two and a half hours feels like too much, half body at $100 covers half legs, half arms, underarms and bikini line in about eighty minutes and is a sensible way to start. You can also stop partway through a full body and pay only for what was completed.

How Long Does My Hair Need To Be

About a quarter of an inch, which is roughly three weeks of growth after shaving. Two weeks is the absolute minimum. Shorter than that and the wax cannot grip it, which means working the same skin twice for a poorer result and a sorer client.

Is The First One Really Worse

Yes, and we would rather say so than have you find out. The hair is at its coarsest and no follicle has ever been emptied. It is noticeably easier the second time and genuinely manageable by the third, as the regrowth becomes finer and the growth cycle starts to sync.

How Often Should I Book

Every five to six weeks if you want to stay smooth continuously. In practice most clients book full body four times a year, clustered around holidays and events, and top up individual areas in between. Both are perfectly reasonable, and we will not push you toward the more expensive one.

Can Men Book Full Body Waxing

Yes. The gentleman's full body at $190 covers chest, back, shoulders, full arms, full legs and underarms. Coarser hair means hard wax is used in more places than on a standard full body, and the back is the area men most often say they wish they had booked years earlier.

Can I Be Waxed On My Period

Yes. Wear a tampon or cup for the intimate section and mention it when you arrive. Skin is more sensitive in the few days before and during a period, so if your booking is flexible the middle of your cycle is a more comfortable time for a long appointment like this.

When Should I Book Before A Holiday

Five days before you fly is ideal. Redness has gone, any bumps have settled, and your skin is no longer sensitive to sun, chlorine or salt water. Three days works for most people. Forty eight hours is the absolute minimum, because there is no sun, swimming or sauna for two days afterward.

What If I Need To Stop Partway Through

Then we stop. You pay for the areas that were completed and nothing more, there is no explanation needed and nobody will try to talk you into finishing. Plenty of first timers do exactly this, come back six weeks later and complete the whole thing comfortably.
