Use the booking form or call us on the number at the bottom of this page. Tell us the service, roughly when suits you, and whether you would like a particular artist. We reply the same day on any day we are open, and we will confirm the price in writing before anything is held.

Everything here is by appointment. We do not keep walk in slots, because the whole model depends on each booking having the full time it needs rather than being squeezed. If you call on the day we will tell you honestly what is free, and sometimes there is a cancellation.

Give us twenty four hours and there is no issue at all, and we will move you to the next slot that suits. Less than that and we ask you to understand that the time is unlikely to be filled. For bridal bookings and any appointment over ninety minutes we ask for forty eight hours.

Call us rather than rushing. If we can still complete the treatment properly in the time left, we will. If we cannot, we would rather shorten the service or rebook you than deliver a rushed version of something you paid full price for. That is the same reason we do not double book chairs.

Yes, and it is worth telling us when you book so we can order them correctly. A body scrub always goes before a massage, brows go before makeup, and a wax needs forty eight hours clear of a scrub. Get the order wrong and at least one of the treatments is wasted.

Secure the date twelve to eighteen months out, before you have even decided on a look. Summer Saturdays go first. The trial can be arranged much later, four to six weeks before the day. Plenty of people do it the other way round and find the date has gone.

Yes, and we check it. The homepage, the service pages and the desk all carry the same figures. Nothing is added at checkout that was not agreed when you booked. If you ever find a difference, tell us and the website price is the one you pay.

Because some treatments genuinely vary. Hair color depends on length and density, nail art is priced by what you choose rather than a flat fee, and full body waxing changes with which areas you include. In every one of those cases we quote your actual figure before we start, not after.

For bridal bookings and any appointment over ninety minutes, yes, and it comes off the final bill. For a standard appointment there is no deposit. We will always tell you the amount in writing when we confirm the booking.

Card and cash at the desk. Please ask when you book if you need a particular method or a written receipt for an employer or an event budget, and we will have it ready rather than sorting it out while you are trying to leave.

Yes, for any value or for a named treatment. A treatment gift card stays valid even if that price changes later, so nobody has to pay a difference at the desk. Get in touch and we will arrange one.

Never expected and always appreciated. Nobody here works on commission and nobody will suggest an amount to you. If you want to recognize an artist by name, telling us so is worth as much to them as anything else.

All of them are written on the relevant service page in plain language rather than implied by a photograph of a clean counter. Wax spatulas binned after one dip, makeup brushes washed between clients, nail tools autoclaved, gloves changed between areas and fresh couch roll for every person.

The point of publishing them is that you can hold us to them. A standard nobody can check is not a standard.

Never. A spatula goes into the pot once, onto your skin, then into the bin. Double dipping returns whatever was on your skin into a shared pot kept warm for the next person, and the wax is not hot enough to sterilize anything whatever anybody tells you. Ask to watch and we will make a point of showing you.

Metal tools are cleaned, then autoclaved, which is heat and pressure rather than a wipe or a jar of blue liquid. Anything porous, including files and buffers, is single use and goes in the bin in front of you. We also do not use foot razors of any kind.

Washed, sanitized and dried, with a second full kit in rotation so a clean set is always ready. Product is decanted onto a sanitized palette rather than taken from the tube, and lips and eyes get a fresh disposable applicator every single time.

Please do. Ask to watch the spatula go in the bin, ask where the file came from, ask whether the wax has been temperature tested. Anyone doing this properly will be pleased you asked rather than defensive about it, and that reaction alone tells you a great deal about any salon.

Every artist here is fully qualified and fully insured, and we check both rather than taking somebody's word for it. If you would like to see documentation before booking, ask and we will show you.

Yes, by name, and we would encourage it for anything ongoing. Color is cumulative and intimate treatments are easier with somebody you already know. Every artist is listed with their disciplines on the artists page.

If you ask for them and they are free, always. For bridal and color specifically, the person who does your trial does your day, with no substitution and no agency cover. If we cannot guarantee that for your date, we will tell you when you enquire rather than six weeks out.

Qualified and insured, checked rather than assumed. Several also write the guides on this site alongside the editorial team, which is why the service pages read like they were written by somebody who has performed the treatment. Because they were.

Say so while you are still in the chair, which is when it is easiest to change. If you only realize later, call us within a week and we will look at it. We would far rather fix something than have you quietly never come back and tell other people instead.

Yes, and there is no charge for one. Color changes, bridal planning and anything you are nervous about are all worth fifteen minutes beforehand. It also lets us tell you honestly if what you want is not something we should be doing.

Four things. Custom tailoring and made to measure pieces, designer collections produced in limited runs, the studio lookbook showing how the pieces work when worn, and one to one bespoke styling. Patterns are drafted and cloth is cut in our own workroom rather than sent out.

Two as standard on any made to measure piece, and a third if the garment genuinely needs one at no extra charge. Nothing leaves the studio until it sits properly, which is the entire difference between made to measure and buying a size.

Allow six to eight weeks for a commission, longer for anything heavily structured or beaded. If you are working to an event date, tell us at the first appointment and we will say honestly whether it is achievable rather than promising and then rushing the finishing.

Yes, and it is a large part of what the workroom does. Hems, waists, sleeves, taking in and letting out. Bring the piece and the shoes you will wear with it, because a hem measured in the wrong shoes is a hem measured twice.

One to one work on your actual wardrobe rather than on a shopping list. It includes an honest edit of what you already own, which means being told what to stop wearing. That part is uncomfortable for about a minute and it is most of the value.

That is rather the point of having both under one roof. Tell us when you book and we will sequence them properly, with the fitting before anything that involves oil or product on the skin, and hair and makeup last.

Arrive ten minutes early, because the consultation sits outside your booked time rather than eating into it. Come with clean skin and no heavy product on the area being treated. For anything involving hair removal, do not shave for at least two weeks beforehand.

Any medication you take, particularly oral isotretinoin or blood thinners. Recent peels, laser or injectables. Skin conditions, allergies, and any previous reaction to a product or treatment. Pregnancy. We ask every visit and not only the first, because things change.

Yes, and we would rather say so here than at the door. Oral isotretinoin or within six months of finishing it, active infection, fever, sunburn, broken skin, a cold sore, or skin waxed in the last forty eight hours. Some conditions need your doctor's clearance first.

You may have traveled across town and the answer will still be no. That rule protects you and it protects the person in the chair after you.

Written aftercare, handed to you rather than recited while you are paying. It is specific to what was done, and it covers the first forty eight hours, which are the ones that decide whether the result holds.

Forty eight hours after waxing or a body scrub, for the gym, swimming, sauna or sunbathing. Twenty four hours after deep tissue for heavy training. After most hair and nail work there is no restriction at all. Your written aftercare will say which applies.

A photograph of your dress, two or three reference images including ideally one you dislike, your own foundation if you wear one, any product that has reacted before, and one person whose opinion you actually want. One, not four.

A private room with the door closed, not a curtained bay. You change with the therapist out of the room and she knocks before returning. You stay covered by a towel throughout and only the small section being worked on is uncovered at any moment.

Say stop and everything stops. No explanation required, nobody will try to talk you into continuing, and you pay only for what was completed. Plenty of first timers do exactly this, come back six weeks later and finish comfortably.

No commentary of any kind. Not about hair, not about skin, not about anything. Your therapist will tell you what she is about to do and nothing else. There is no such thing as arriving with too much hair, and however long it has been it is a completely ordinary Tuesday for her.

For consultations, bridal trials and fittings, yes and it often helps. For treatments in a private room we would rather it was just the two of you. If you need a companion present for any reason, tell us at booking and we will arrange it.

Yes, across hair, skin, waxing, nails and massage. There is a gentleman's full body waxing package, and back, chest and shoulder work is among the most requested things in the salon. Nothing on our menu is restricted by gender.

Many treatments yes, some with changes, and a few not at all. Pregnancy massage is available from the second trimester, worked side lying with proper support. Deep tissue is not. Tell us your due date when you book, and please check with your doctor or midwife first if you have any complications.
